18th Annual Lend a Shoulder Day

Go back to school this fall at the 18th Annual Lend A Shoulder Day, hosted by the Chairmen’s Advisory Council. Have fun seeing how your support helps Big Shoulders Fund establish roots for future genertations for 20,000 inner-city students attending 74 school.

During your visit you will see the students in action and have an opportunity to engage with them directly. You may judge a science fair, participate in an experiment, build a robot, compete in a math decathlon, or lead a read aloud. Take advantage of this unique opportunity to see firsthand how 74 Big Shoulders Fund schools provide the roots of future opportunity. 95 percent of high school students graduate high school and 85 percent of scholars enter college. The morning will be capped off with other attendees at a spectacular lunch hosted by Smith & Wollensky.
