DESCRIPTION:Making a difference is fun and easy with the Big Shoulders Fund Give Back Days. \nJoin the Big Shoulders Fund Auxiliary Board for a morning of service on Saturday\, Feburary 18\, 2017. We will be at Queen of the Universe\, one of the 77 schools supported by the Big Shoulders Fund. It will be a fun-filled a day of painting\, cleaning\, and organizing. Bring a group\, friend\, colleagues or whoever. The more the merrier and the larger the impact we will make together for the children! \nStreet parking is available along with a parking lot behind the school. Breakfast and hot coffee will be provided for all volunteers the morning of the event. All you have to do is wear comfy clothes and show up! \nToday the Big Shoulders Fund serves nearly 20\,000 students in 64 elementary schools and 13 high schools in the city of Chicago. Big Shoulders supports schools by providing programs that will ensure students receive a strong academic foundation in elementary school\, enroll in quality\, college prep high schools\, persist in college\, and lead productive lives as adults.
