DESCRIPTION:Due to recent guidance from Illinois’ Governor and Mayor in regards to the COVID-19 crisis and events expected to attract 250 plus attendees\, Bowl for Big Shoulders will be rescheduled.  Details on the rescheduled date will be posted as soon as they are made available.  \n  \n  \nBowl for Big Shoulders is always a night to remember. Each team will enjoy three hours of bowling\, beer\, wine\, soda\, a dinner and dessert buffet\, raffle\, contests\, and so much more. If you are not up for the bowling challenge\, but want to participate in the fun and other endeavors\, party tickets will be available. \n10pin bowling lounge has graciously donated food\, drink\, and amenities for the entire evening. Thanks to a generous gift from the Beth and Bruce White Family Foundation\, 3\,300 students in 10 elementary and high schools in the Catholic Diocese of Gary will be directly impacted through operational support and academic programming. An additional 10 schools with 2\,600 students will also benefit from professional development opportunities made available to teachers and administrators through this initiative. \nThe expansion of Big Shoulders Fund’s programming is made possible through the exclusive use of this gift\, independent from Chicago program funding. As a result\, Big Shoulders Fund will be able to help even more schools and communities in need\, while also remaining fully committed to its network of schools in Chicago\, where we have provided long-term academic and operational support for more than 30 years and invested nearly $400 million to date. \nWe’re thrilled to be able to expand the reach of our mission and look forward to working with schools\, families\, and the volunteer community in Northwest Indiana. \nClick here to learn more!
