Manager, Volunteerism & Engagement
Reports to: Director, Corporate Partnerships & Engagement (Development Team)
Date: Spring 2024
The Manager, Volunteerism and Engagement is responsible for supporting the Development Team’s efforts in engaging supporters with Big Shoulders Fund’s mission as well as leading all volunteerism and engagement efforts through programs and events.
Assistant Director, Civics
Reports to: Director, STEM Programming and Extended Day (Schools Team)
Date: Summer 2024
The Assistant Director, Civics will lead the planning and implementation of the Big Shoulders Fund Civics Program. The program aims to support middle and high school social studies teachers in implementing rigorous civics instruction for students in grades 7-12 through curriculum supports, teacher professional development workshops, and individualized coaching.
Coordinator, Donor Services
Reports to: Manager, Development Operations (Systems and Operations Team)
Date: Spring 2024
Under the direction of the Manager, Development Operations, the Donor Services Coordinator handles an array of database functions, ensuring the timely acknowledgement of contributions and payments, and maintaining the accuracy of critical constituent data.
Manager, Talent & Strategy
Reports to: Senior Director, People & Leadership; Senior Director, Strategy & Communication
Date: Summer 2024
The Manager, Talent & Strategy will handle an array of responsibilities which support the work of two critical teams at Big Shoulders Fund: the People & Leadership team, and the Strategy & Communication team. This individual’s work will help propel forward the organization’s efforts of talent acquisition,
onboarding, talent development & management, while also holding key responsibilities related to our work with the Big Shoulders Fund Board and its various committees.
