On the Table: Teaching with Twitter

Join fellow Big Shoulders Fund supporters for our On the Table conversation, Tuesday, May 16, 2017. That day and evening, thousands of Chicago area residents will pull up a chair at gatherings like ours to discuss the future of our communities. We will be one of the thousands of organizations across the Chicago region hosting similar events where community residents from all ages and backgrounds will come together to put real issues and solutions “on the table” and share their commitments to helping shape our collective future.
Thanks to Chairmen’s Advisory Council member J.J. Hirschle, our interactive discussion “Teaching with Twitter” will be at Twitter’s Chicago Headquarters. We’ll learn about how our students are communicating and learning using Twitter, the power that this tool provides in classrooms, and even do a takeover of Big Shoulders Fund’s Twitter handle!
