We invite you to join us for the Big Shoulders Fund Ball Kick Off on Thursday, July 10 from 5:30-7:30pm at Moe’s Cantina, River North (155 W. Kinzie Street).
This year, we are Inventing Tomorrow, as the Chairmen’s Advisory Council and Auxiliary Board raise funds for their scholarships.
The Kick Off serves as the first opportunity to purchase Big Shoulders Fund Ball tickets and is a great evening of networking.

The CAC invites you to a panel discussion on civic service. Big Shoulders Fund CEO Joshua Hale will moderate a discussion along with three Board of Directors members: Curtis Tarver (Illinois state representative, 25th District), Clarisol Duque (State Director for United States Senator Dick Durbin) and Sheila O’Grady (former chief of staff for Mayor Richard M. Daley).

Join us for our spring CAC State of the Union.
We invite all Chairmen’s Advisory Council members to attend our first in-person meeting of the year at EY. Join us for networking, committee updates and a panel sharing focused on: Mission More Than Ever – Driving Strategy in 2025. The panel will offer government, corporate and schools perspective on how you can support the Big Shoulders Fund mission in 2025 and beyond.

Please join us for a fireside chat with Gerald Beeson, chief operating officer at Citadel and a Big Shoulders Fund board member. Gerald is also an alum of St. Gall, a Big Shoulders Fund school.
He’ll talk about his experience as an alum and why, as a businessman, he is continuing to invest in Chicago even though Citadel has moved out of the city. He’ll also address the importance of philanthropy in general.
